In this dynamic role, Phiwo was instrumental in shaping the Kingdom of Eswatini's brand identity as a global destination of choice for domestic, regional, and international audiences. As Communications Coordinator, she successfully revived the national tourism industry's online presence through interactive campaigns, real-time web and social media updates, as well as visual content development. All creative concepts were guided by the country’s strategic objectives for the tourism sector: increasing tourist arrivals and tourism receipts, extending the average length of stay, and stimulating domestic tourism. Phiwo’s key contributions included: •Developing & Implementing Content Strategies to support the Eswatini Tourism Authority’s strategic goals using data and statistics gathered by the organisation’s research department. •Managing and updating the national tourism website and social media pages to ensure engaging, accurate, and timely content. •Crafting high-quality written content for campaigns, media releases, and stakeholder communication. •Curating and maintaining Eswatini Tourism’s official image library, supporting national archiving and visual storytelling. •Played a central role in reinforcing Eswatini’s brand identity both locally and internationally.

As Media Liaison for Eswatini’s participation in the Expo 2020 Dubai, Phiwo played an instrumental role in supporting Eswatini’s brand image on one of the world’s most prominent global stages. Her work ensured that Eswatini’s presence was professionally represented, widely visible, and consistently aligned with national branding objectives.
